Kids Connection

Chances are, if you are coming to Matthews Alive, you may just have some young children in tow! Well, in that case, you are in luck! This area will keep the kids busy, and they will love every minute of it! So come on down to the WJZY/WMYT Kid’s Connection and let the kids explore the possibilities!

The Charlotte Parent Kids Craft Pavilion at Matthews Alive features some of the most enjoyable activities for youth. Kids can spend some time doing hands-on craft projects, and will have a great take home souvenir from Matthews Alive! Just around the corner from there, ponies are ready and waiting to trot them around. The fun doesn’t stop there; next kids can listen for the train whistle and board the train for a great time on our train ride.

Of course, these activities all surround the Kids Stage, so laughter and music will fill the air. You can also grab a snack from one of our food vendors located right in the Kid’s Connection area.
