Do you love live music? If throwing out a blanket in the park and catching some great act’s sounds like your idea of a good day, then Matthews Alive is the festival for you! We have three music stages featuring live music from local, regional and national recording artists, and for all ages and interests.

We have the Main Stage in Stumptown Park, featuring the widest variety of music throughout the event, from beach, to country, to classic rock and everything in between. Of course there’s our Kid’s Stage, featuring every sort of fun filled children’s entertainment you can imagine. And if you need to cool off and take a break, come inside the Cultural Center (Matthews Community Center) to check out the offerings on the Indoor Cultural Stage!

Entertainment Booking Process:
The festival is committed to bringing entertainment that caters to a variety of ages and cultures. Each year the festival receives hundreds of press kits from artists looking to be included in the Matthews Alive Festival.

The selection process begins in February and remains open until May. The press kit or demo must consist of publicity photo, stage plot, website, and CD of the acts current line up. The festival currently uses entertainment agency Key Signature to assist in its selection process.
