Welcome to the Matthews Alive Festival

The Matthews Alive Festival is a Labor Day weekend celebration dedicated to the support of local non-profit organizations through music, arts and community involvement.  This year, Matthews Alive will be held AUGUST 29 – SEPTEMBER 1.


Community groups volunteer their time by working the event, which in turn provides Matthews/Charlotte and the southeast a festival packed with an array of family activities, entertainment, arts and food.


The proceeds from the festival go directly to these non-profit organizations in order that they may provide services to enhance the quality of life in our area. Following the festival, after the festival expenses are paid, 100% of the festival proceeds are distributed to these organizations.


To date, Matthews Alive, Inc. has contributed over $1,000,000 back into our local community!
