Welcome to the Matthews Alive Festival
The Matthews Alive Festival is a Labor Day weekend celebration dedicated to the support of local non-profit organizations through music, arts and community involvement. This year, Matthews Alive will be held AUGUST 30 – SEPTEMBER 2.
If you are experiencing problems with the gift card that you received from the Charlotte Observer vendor booth at Matthews Alive, please call the Observer–Ginny Funderburk, 704-358-6018, for resolution. While the Festival is not directly responsible for this difficulty, we feel a responsibility to monitor and insure the validity of our vendors’ activities. We are working diligently to correct these issues, as we want all of our Festival patrons to have a positive experience. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, and we promise to continue to work toward resolution for everyone affected.
